BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

What is the course for?

Under the Licensing Act 2003, anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol will have to hold a personal licence. The BIIAB's new qualification, the BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders has been specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003

What are the entry requirements?

There are none although a basic understanding of English and numeracy is assumed.

Rights of entry to licensed premises
Police powers with regard to suspension and closure of licensed premises
Specific prohibitions for the sale of alcohol
The strengths of alcoholic drinks, and the effects of alcohol on the human body
Protection of children from harm
Responsible retail sale of alcohol
