BIIAB Professional Barperson’s Qualification
Who is the course for?
A national qualification designed for barpersons working in on-licensed premises in England and Wales.
What are the entry requirements?
None although a basic knowledge of English and numeracy is assumed.
What does the course involve?
The qualification comprises two units – the BIIAB Barperson’s National Certificate, which mainly focuses on the legalties of the role and BIIAB Customer and Drinks Service which teaches the practical skills that a bar person will require. In order to achieve the qualification you must successfully complete both units.
What does a candidate receive on successful assessment?
A certificate for each unit is awarded on successful completion of the assessment. A certificate for the BIIAB Professional Barperson’s Qualification is awarded by BIIAB, only on successful completion of the assessment for both units.
