Teacher Training City and Guilds 1886 Level 3 certificate for deliverers of conflict management
Workplace violence and aggression is a growing concern in many industries including those in the public sector. Where the risk of workplace violence exists, employers have a legal and moral duty of care to provide adequate training and resources commensurate with the risk that staff face in their line of work. This has lead to a nationaly recognised qualification being developed in order to meet the HSE requirements thus meeting the employers duty of care in providing Conflict Management Training to staff. Over previous years there have been many variations such as Violence and aggression training or conflict resolution. Who is the course for? The course is designed to give experienced or new trainers hints and tips in preparing scenarios both for conflict management and indeed any other type of training. Scenario based training is often a training tool neglected due to many having had bad experiences of scenario/role play in the past. We aim to demonstrate how this can become an enjoyable part of any training package for both student and trainer.
