Weapons Awareness This is a course designed for anyone dealing closely with the public where the possibility and or motivation for people to carry an offensive weapon exists. Equally the possible use of everyday items can often cause fatal injury if used in an aggresive manner. The aim is to teach individuals how to recognise and deal with this event if it occurs, and to highlight and raise awareness of the many items that are commonly being used as weapons in todays culture. Recognising how weapons are concealed, used and adapted is key if we are to gain the advantage in preventing them being used in the first place.
